How to Install rpm2cpio software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

rpm2cpio software package provides tool to convert RPM package to CPIO archive, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install rpm2cpio

rpm2cpio is installed in your system.

Make ensure the rpm2cpio package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep rpm2cpio *

You will get with rpm2cpio package name, version, architecture and description in a table
